Contest runs for 8 consecutive Fridays, beginning October 31, 2008 – December 19, 2008, with the
Finals on December 26, 2008
Sign up each Friday at the Reel Thing from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Contestants will have one warm-up song before contest in the “Regular” Karaoke session
The contest will commence at 8:00 PM and conclude when all contestants have performed.
Must be 21 and up to enter - No "Duets"
Entry fee is $5 each week.
Funtime Karaoke Team Members and Reel Thing Catfish Cafe Family & Staff not eligible
Each week’s winner will be selected by two independent Judges (No, Simon will not be one of the judges)
Contestants will be judged on the following:

Vocal Ability (singing talent) 1 2 3 4 5
Song Interpretation 1 2 3 4 5
(understanding/presentation of material chosen)
Stage Presence 1 2 3 4 5
(flowing appropriate movement - not just frozen)
Audience Response 1 2 3 4 5
(Dancing, singing along, & applause)
Total Score: _____ (Highest Total Score Wins)

The weekly winners will appear in the Finals on Friday, December 26, 2008
The Grand Prize will be a 3 day / 2 night trip to Mexico for two adults which will include

air fare from Dallas, transportation from the airport to the hotel of your selected destination

(Acapulco, Cancun, Los Cabos, Cozumel or Puerta Vallarta), hotel, meals, and snacks.

There is a $100 trip registration fee which will be refunded when you arrive at your destination hotel.
Must be 21 years of age to be eligible for travel or must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Not available to full time students.
Reservations must be made within 60 days.
Note: All U.S. Citizens MUST have a Passport to travel outside the United States. Apply Now! At Post Office!
